You guys – this has been the most adult week of my entire twenty-seven years of life. I should have known it was going to be a weird week when I threw my laptop over the balcony of our third floor apartment building on Sunday night (okay, I didn’t throw it – it fell, and it was my old laptop, not my new one, but still. It was traumatic). Since then, I’ve dealt with:
- Having to find new health insurance
- Taking my car back and forth to the dealer like twelve times
- Dealing with a gas leak in our neighborhood
- Having to install my own software on my computer for the first time
And those are the headlines. I am not a drinker. I will take a crisp soda over a martini any day – but last night? Last night I decided on a glass of red wine. It was a good choice. Now I understand why adults drink.
Adulting does have it’s fun parts – like living with my best friend. It’s been so fun experiencing the holidays with Mike in our first apartment. We enjoy the Christmas lights every night while we stay up talking. I’ve also introduced him to my very adult Christmas shopping list.
I mentioned before that, having worked for affluential people, Christmas shopping can be somewhat difficult. It’s hard buying for people who have everything (or can buy everything!). That’s why I love finding unique and personalized gifts. This year, I’m so excited to have found Brook and York!
Their jewelry is perfect – simply, elegant, and customizable!
How cute is this Luna Script Initial Necklace I bought my cousin?! And right now, you can use my code HOLIDAZE2017 for 15% off your purchase!!
